Wait Patiently on God!

KNOWING this, that the trying of our faith, worketh patience” (James 1:3). A FRUIT of the SPIRIT we must practice is patience. GOD used Job to teach us how faith and patience must work together. The trying or testing of our faith, through trials are orchestrated by GOD to teach patience. GOD allowed satan to take Job into a serious test of faith for a reason. His faith and patience are a testimony of GOD’S love for us today. Job could not suffer pain, nor go thru his 'where is GOD'

experience, without GOD or patience.

With the same kind of patience and faith, we will prevail.

There was never a break-down of Job’s faith in GOD. In fact, the death of his children, livestock, and his bodily pain allowed Job to triumph. He did not even curse GOD as his wife advised. He chastised her “…thou speaketh as a foolish woman” (Job 2:10). Job’s faith in GOD was unshaken when he was criticized by his friends (vs 6). Rudely, they spoke bitterly, inflicting more pain. Spiritual weakness was real; his faith overcame his weakness; he knew GOD was somewhere.

When tests come, we must go through it until it’s over.

Being in a must-go-through time can be difficult. We have all asked why it is happening and when it will end. Going through can make us cry, complain, or conform to the lesson GOD is teaching us. The truth is trials come to make us strong. “…After that ye have suffered a while, [it will] make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you] (1 Peter 5:10).

After our trial has ended, our faith in GOD is strengthened. Like Job, we learn the testing of our faith does produce patience. The blessings GOD has for you is more than worth waiting for. GOD will give you a testimony too, be patient.
