HE healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). The Children of Israel were miserable. They were despondent in exile and wanting to return home. Eventually, the LORD
restored them. HE bindeth or fixed their painful predicament.
Man is three-fold; composed of spirit (the Breath of GOD), soul (it longs to be united with GOD), and the physical body. Considering this, a man's experience, and explanation of his type of pain can be complicated. Our souls are beaten and abused by sin, our spirits are hurt by the words or actions of others, and illness, getting old, etc., can hurt our bodies. Yet, no matter what causes the pain, our first instinct is to seek immediate comfort- even if temporary relief is all we can get. The permanent cure for any pain, in any case, come rain or shine, is the GREAT PHYSICIAN- JESUS CHRIST.
To healeth is to cure continuously. There is, continuous healing, at the Cross, and the only ONE that can heal continuously, GOD lives in us; HE promised not to leave us.
There is a BALM in Gilead (Jer. 8:22) that heals every wound GODS’ children suffer. HE can heal a heart holding tears that were never shed and the heart embracing unconfessed sins.
JESUS is the FRIEND of a wounded heart. HE cares so much, HE gently replaces our tears and pain, with comfort and reassurance. “There is no pain JESUS can’t heal, no hurt HE cannot feel.” No matter how strong we are, pain can weaken or break us, temporarily. But if we trust GOD in every painful predicament, we will see HE has healed and restored us to a better place than we were before the pain began.
Trust and believe GOD cares; HE does have healing for you.
