Pastor Ronald Miller is a third-generation Church of God in Christ member. His grandfather is the late Bishop U.E. Miller and his father is the late Bishop W.E. Miller.

Pastor Miller was ordained under Bishop W. E. Miller and served him as the associate pastor of Williams Temple Church of God in Christ. He was asked to join the Ohio Central Ordination Board shortly after being ordained. He currently serves under Bishop E. Nevels, Prelate Ohio West Jurisdiction as Administrative Assistant. He also serves the Ordination Board. He served as the Finance Chairman for nine years.

Led by God and with a passion for people, he founded Heavenly Bound Church of God in Christ in 2011. The church purchased a building in 2015 for worship. He remodeled the downstairs soon thereafter. The mortgage, remodeling, and remaining debts were completely paid in January 2020. Heavenly Bound is a debt-free church.

Pastor Miller attended Kent State University and majored in business. His professional career began in the Standard Oil computer lab. While there, he was a computer programmer. He later accepted a job with CONRAIL Railroad. He was the first Black American manager in railroading in the country. He managed over two hundred employees and dispatchers. Later he was employed with Allstate Insurance Company where he consistently placed in the top three percent of agents in Ohio. He won more than seventy-five awards and trips to foreign countries. His company, Miller Remodeling, has been licensed and bonded for over twenty years. He is certified by OSHA and EPA to train and certify contractors in lead paint abatement in Ohio.

He is the husband to the best thing that could have ever happened to him, the lovely and well-loved, Missionary Valerie Miller.
